Our Story

Richard Taylor set up Taylor Lifts in 2008.  After working for over 15 years in the lift manufacturing industry and establishing a reputation for being the go-to person for any lift problem, large and small, Richard knew that he could create a company that was rooted in hard work, determination and being able to think innovatively; and so Taylor Lifts was born.

Richard's untimely death in 2021 was a shock to everyone and the lift industry lost a real hero; but he built a company underpinned by real family values and for the people left behind at the end of 2021, it was clear that the company must honour Richard's legacy and continue to provide the sort of faultless service it had become known for.

So, Taylor Lifts continues to develop its own solutions to service the industry, still has hard working and passionate engineers and has a bright future ahead of it.  Richard always prided himself on building lasting relationships with all Taylor Lift's customers, whether they be from large multinational lift companies or local small family run businesses and this ethos distinguishes us from many of our competitors.  We continue to be recognised as this reputable, honest and reliable partner and we look forward to working with you.
